Hidden movement orders
Hide future enemy orders and movement paths, revealing only completed formations.
A 3D wuxia strategy game with three movement turns followed by an automatic battle.
Overview
Build an army of up to eight units within a 15-point budget and make three movement orders. Future enemy orders stay hidden; only completed formations are revealed after each turn. A deterministic automatic battle resolves the match.
Created for OpenAI Game Builders Seoul. I directed the game, visuals and play decisions, and used Codex for rules implementation, 3D presentation, browser fallbacks, tests and Cloud Run deployment.
01
Hide future enemy orders and movement paths, revealing only completed formations.
02
The winning army and its three orders become the next Echo. Defeat five Echoes to finish a run.
03
Replay the verified battle in 3D using the same units and positions as the planning phase.
The rules core decides the winner and next Echo. Three.js renders verified battle records.
Apply the rule of revealing only completed formations in both the UI and the data.
Use Codex for implementation and verification while keeping game feel, visual direction, scope and final play decisions with the human creator.
